CASII WILIAMS

Casii Williams is a Western Aranda singer-songwriter from the remote community of Hermannsburg in Central Australia. Raised within a revered musical family, she is a third-generation musician and the first woman in her family to pursue a solo music career.

Surrounded by music from an early age, Casii’s influences span genres and generations, from the guitar-driven energy of Eddie Van Halen to the smooth, soulful elegance of Sade. This eclectic foundation shaped her curiosity and versatility as an artist, allowing her to move fluidly across styles while developing a sound uniquely her own.

Casii’s performance journey began early. At just 10 years old, she took to the stage at the Yipirinya Festival, performing in front of an audience of 20,000 people. By the age of 14, she had already released her debut single, Desert Pop Lock and Drop, signalling the emergence of a bold new voice.

Following formal vocal training in Adelaide, Casii explored a wide range of genres including jazz, blues, soul, and rock and roll. While she connected deeply with each style, it was through dance and electronic music that she ultimately found her artistic voice - blending rhythm, emotion, and energy into a sound that feels both contemporary and deeply personal.

Her 2018 release Fallin Down received airplay on Triple J Unearthed and community radio, further establishing her as an artist to watch. Today, Casii’s music weaves together elements of soul, R&B, dance, and rock, drawing comparisons to the emotive power of Amy Lee and the timeless sophistication of Sade.

With a sound that is both modern and enduring, Casii Williams continues to carve out her place in the music landscape - captivating audiences with her authenticity, versatility, and heartfelt performances. As she evolves, she stands poised to become a compelling and influential force in the Australian music scene and beyond.
